Clicking on the icon in the top left corner of the outliner did absolutely nothing for me. I still get 'outliner filtering' on almost every item clicked in the outliner. Even hitting escape can take up to 30 MINUTES to stop filtering!! I don't even know why it does this. It just started one day. Anyone ever find a reason and a solution??
