Objects Not Displayed/Missing After Opening Project

Hello,

I am a bit new to Maya but have successfully played around creating objects (and saving and reopening). I went to open my file today and all I see is the grid. I opened the Outliner window and there are objects listed. If I select an object in the Outliner, and hit "w" the tool appears but still no object. I can also select an object in the Outliner and hit "f" and the frame adjusts but still no object. I tried toggling between wireframe mode and still nothing. Last night I was working on it, saved the file as a .ma with no errors so I'm not sure what happened.

I have only one layer that is a reference photo and I can toggle between visible/invisible with that layer. I thought I had incremental saves on but I reset my preferences because of another issue. I can select the objects in the Outliner and export these to a .obj file. But after trying to import it into a new project seems to have the same not-displaying-objects.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Hi crusedog, as  a new member please do not create the same post in different categories, it just creates more confusion, that's a forum rule.

Thank you.

I apologize. I couldn't figure out how to move it.
