Hey,

I am having an issue navigating around my Maya viewport.

Any button that I press on the mouse just lets me zoom in and out, so basically I can not rotate or pan my view.

Just something I noticed,  whenever I press the ALT key, there is a small minus sign (like what happens when you normally press the CTRL key.

Can not  understand what this is? or why it is happening? Someone please help me out.

Do you have anything else, but mouse installed, like Wacom?

Have you tired to refresh your prefs? Exit Maya, rename userPrefs.mel in your \Documents\maya\2020\prefs\ to userPrefs.mel.old and launch Maya, try pan/rotate again..

Accepted solution

You know what, I know it is not right  but when I use the other ALT key (under the Caps Lock), it works fine. Strange

Thanks anyway
