Middle Mouse Click on Menu - Maya 2015 - Mac Users Please Try This...

Just learned a shortcut I wasn't aware of that's new in Maya 2015...thanks to Daryl Obert's most recent Maya Monday.  If you Middle-click on a menu header, the last selection you made under that menu will automatically be executed.  For example, if you do a Create->Polygon Primitives ->Cube, you only need to middle click on "Create" to repeat that menu selection.  HOWEVER...this doesn't seem to work on Maya for Mac.  When I rebooted into Boot Camp to try it under WIndows,  it does.  Can someone else try this under OSX to confirm?

Yes, we couldn't do it as on windows system. There is some different on mac os and windows.

I don't know why Middle Mouse Click on Menu don't work on Mac OS. I think it is Mac OS limition.

Apple added 3 button mouse driver for Maya on Mac OS, and I don't know if there is other software use middle button on Mac OS. The Mac OS needn't support middle button perfect.

Thank you for checking.  Although I don't consider this a critical issue, I'm not convinced that it should be blamed on the OS.  (For example, you can middle-click on pretty much any web browser tab in Mac OSX to close the tab.)

It would be interesting to hear what the dev team has to say about it...

It is new funtion for Maya 2015 Extension.

I don't know why they didn't add this function on Mac OS.
