Hello all,

So my mesh is clean if you perform a mesh clean up, but once I extrude anywhere it is no longer clean?

Can someone please tell me why?

Thank you all!

Your leg is fine, don't do a clean up if there's no need for, just keep modeling until is done.

Yes, but if you extrude anywhere, all of a sudden it becomes "unclean".

How can a clean mesh produce an unclean face of a single extrusion?

Just ignore that step , why clean up if you are modeling, how many times u gonna do that while modeling?Modeling operations don’t make a mesh unclean.

after you are done, do a mesh check up.simple

You've been modeling since 2017, you don't need to keep checking that, you already know when the mesh has some weird issue.

Because the whole model ends up unclean with every additional extrusion I make.

You can try it yourself with the file I provided, extrude as much as possible and you will see the end results.

There has to be a legitimate answer why it is happening, simply "ignoring" the issue, isn't going to fix it or make it go away.

Hi!

Sorry, but you did not provide enough information.

1. Where and how do you extrude

2. Why do you think your mesh is no longer clean.

There is no result i can check.

I tested your mesh and it keeps clean with further modeling tasks like extrude.

Only the UVs are terrible (maybe this is the problem).
