When I use the trial version of maya2022.2, it is found that the guide color of xgen cannot be drawn as color and is always displayed as gray. I think is that a bug of new version, because it won't happen on the old version.

I found a solution

1. Change the custom color parameter to "color" and click the "+" to name it

2. Create the texture, give it a  name, and then you can draw the color mapSnipaste_2022-05-26_10-21-04.pngSnipaste_2022-05-26_10-31-11.png

3. Open the expression editor and copy the guidecolor map name

4. Create the Guidecolor map, overlay the name of the duplicated texture with the name of the created texture, and click "Apply".

5. It is found that guidecolor can be drawn. Guidecolor can be drawn at either position

You can use this method to infer other areas where you need to map or change shader parameters
