MAYA VIEW PROBLEM

Cant select the create polygons in the shortcut view.
How can I fix it ?

thanks for bringing your question to the forums! At first glance, it looks like you have a symmetry tool turned on, try turning that off. If that doesnt resolve the issue, perhaps reseting your preferences will?

is that a looged bug Hagen? symetry disables polygon shelf?

I went back and tried to reproduce using the Symmetry tool, and I'm not seeing any issue, so I don't think it's acting wonky @damaggio , at least in 2024.2...But also I haven't seen that HUD text on @CARUSELLAMUSIC screenshot that says "Symmetry:object X" before, do you have any idea what that could be/what tool that's coming from?

I was just curios because I've seen some other posts recently where users reported shelves missing, I didn't try 24 this time, gonna wait for 25.1  but I like keeping an eye on any bugs. Good that is working fine then.
