Nvidia released the Attic USD Stage.

Download it here.

I have watched autodesk vision series and there are updates to outliner to support more usd features like adding prims and attribute editor showing a lot more details of prims, do we have an ETA when that's gonna be released, am currently trying 0.6.0 and that just has layer editor

I assume thats part of UFE. If thats true you have to wait for Maya 2021.

How do I install the USD plugin? I cannot see it in the Maya plugins list (Maya 2022)

Its an option in the main Maya installer beside Arnold and Bifrost.

I ended up uninstalling the usd with windows uninstall.

‘I ran the Maya 2022 setup again and the usd plug-in showed up in the install window. 

now it’s working fine, except I need to figure out how to have usd materials show up in Maya.
