There's massive lag when selecting objects in viewport in Maya 2016, I actually managed to make it work somewhat using Open GL Core profile in Display preferences, but with this option I can't select legacy viewport (I press on it and it just stays on viewport 2.0). It would work fine actually if not one major thing - I use V-ray, and with viewport 2.0 V-ray lights are invisible in viewport. So I can't see it or select it here, I can only select it through outliner.
By the way this lag problem is more present with files I created some time ago on different computer and probably Maya version, it's not as harsh with new objects I create, but the problem is still here. I also tried reinstalling Maya, installing 2015 Maya, same problem. I basically can't work with older files and V-ray no matter what I try (of course I tried deleting history and replacing materials). Basically I have to choose V-ray or unusable lag.
Any ideas what could be causing this? I have a theory maybe there's a problem with fairly new processor (Intel i5 7th gen) I'm using and its drivers?
