maya scene file failing to load

my maya scene save file goes white screen when loading then crashes without an error message. this only happens on a windows computer (tried two separate ones) but the scene will load on a mac book computer. i was able to load a new scene then import the failing one into it then saving that file but then once i opened that new file it again went white then crashed

You could try to save a .ma or .mb file. Just an idea.

Also delete all the history on all objects.
