Hi, I've been trying to figure out how to get this panel on my maya. This is a screen shot from Youtube and I circled the part I can't find. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To the lower left of the red circle you drew, click the 3rd icon down.  Alternatively, you can get the outliner by clicking on Window->Outliner.
