I have worked on a project on PC(i3) but the file is not opening in another PC(i7), don't know why is this happening. It shows that the file is read in 1.4 seconds and suddenly freezes but after opening Task Manager I get to know that Maya is not responding.  But  other files are being opened perfectly on that PC(i7) while working in the first PC(i3). Please someone help. I have attached the file below and I'am using maya 2018.Maya_not_respondingMaya_not_responding

Hi @Anonymous

I was able to to open the file on my machine with no issues.

One quick test you could try is exporting the scene as an FBX from the i3 and then import that fbx onto the i7.

Also, are there any other major differences between the machines? Are they running the same version of Maya with the same updates?

Finally, can you try saving the file in .MA format and then open that version on the i7?

There ain't any major differences except the processor and both the CPU's run the same version.

attached the fbx. file as well, man can't understand this mess, I'm working for my show-reel. Please help me.

Hi @Anonymous

I had no problem opening that as well.

You may want to perform a clean uninstall/reinstall of Maya on the i7 machine to make sure there's no issues with it that could be stopping it from being opened.
