maya not lauching

hey! up until yesterday, Maya was working perfectly on my computer. Today, I tried opening it and all it does is show the output window and a blank window where my scene should be. I didn't update anything on my computer these past few days and I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling again, with no luck. Has anyone had this problem? Please help

Could you please run maya from a cmd window with the command line option: -log fileName

also set environment variable MAYA_CMD_FILE_OUTPUT=writableFileName

ie

set MAYA_CMD_FILE_OUTPUT=c:\temp\scriptOutput.txt

maya -log c:\temp\stdout.txt

to see if ant errors on startup

could also try

maya -prompt

to see if ant messages
