so i made sure ADLS was installed, it was but to make sure, i deleted it and reinstalled the latest version, still returned the same error so i deleted maya and any autodesk/maya/adls/adlm file i found in macoOS library  and reinstalled maya and ADLS and it still gave the same error.

i updated macos to macos sequioa and downgraded maya to 2024 but i still got the error.

i have no idea what else to do so any help or ideas would be appreciated.

the log file is attached below.

After much trial and error I managed to get Maya working, there was a lot of hidden library files that were under ADLS or something along those lines and after deleting them Maya wouldn't open, however this terminal command worked:

sudo -a /Applications/Autodesk/maya2025/Maya.app/Contents/MacOS

I fail to understand how Autodesk which is worth 60.56 billion have such a crappy licensing server.

Autodesk support took so long I simply gave up on them, they are still "coming back to me" after 2 weeks of waiting for them to figure out why Mayas viewport is laggy and has partially neon pink text.

Its sad Autodesk support don't even understand the companies software at the company they are employed at.

They just resend the same link again that I replied to and said didn't help, then give up and send the case to a "specialist team" particularly as this was such a simple case of not completely uninstalling any Autodesk software.

I really think they should know the basics of said software.

VERY disappointing Autodesk
