Maya 2020 - Massive slow-down and freezing

Hey everyone,

Could really use some help with this.
I'm a student at animation mentor and I recently updated from Maya 2017 to 2020.

I'm working on very simple scenes with one rig (one of the school rigs), and almost no scene models.
I have one Animation Layer on top of the BaseAnimation Layer, but that's it.

For some reason a lot of the actions or things I do (especially in the Graph Editor) end up taking a very long time, or practically freezing my Maya.
It reached a point where moving a bunch of keyframes a few frames forward took around 25 minutes. (I didn't End Task it to see if it crashed or just stuck).

My PC is decent and all shots up till now never got that slow.
Running an:
Intel i5-7400 @3.0Ghz
32 Gb RAM 2400 Mhz
Nvidia GeForce 1050 ti

Any ideas?

could you zip up and then attach the scene file you are using?

This is a confirmed Windows OS correct?

Hey,

If it's fine I'll DM it to you, since it contains a school proprietary rig.

And yes I'm using an authenticated Windows OS.
