Ahoy!
Trying to cut up my flower pot and as the noob I am I've been following a guide.
I'm at where this guy deletes half the pot and separate the ring from the base by selecting the edges and using cut in the UV editor: https://youtu.be/sm4toSm1FWo?t=765
Since I'm familiar with Photoshop I really want to use this approach to style the pot.
Played around with automatic planing and straightened out the UV's and managed to get it styled a little bit but details like scratches etc get's stretched out so I'm trying to duplicate the approach in the video as it's similar to other clay pot guides I've checked out.
Tried resetting prefs folder and reinstalling if cut was broken but that didn't work so I assume it's my fault somewhere.
Attached the scene and a small clip that shows that my UV looks the same but the it won't cut the edges.
Thanks in advance, hope everyone is doing well in these strange times.
