Hi @Anonymous your title 'Window Menu missing' was edited for clarity by @sean.heasley
Hi!
Try a reset of your preferences (reset everything).
Rename the folder prefs in folder 2018 to something like prefs_backup, or to reset everything, the folder 2018 to 2018_backup. Maya creates new folders. Detailed at:
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/maya/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Reset-May...
If this doesn't work you could try:
1. Uninstall the plug-in.
2. Uninstall Maya and reinstall Maya again.
Hi @Anonymous
Did the steps to delete your settings/preferences @mspeer provided yesterday work for you?
If not you may also want to make sure all your drivers are up to date especially your GPU driver!
Steps to update your drivers can be found here!

resetted the prefs, reinstalled maya, my gfx card was up to date.... but that menue item still missing. isnt there a Hotkey to open the plugin Manager ? its driving me mad 🙂
Hi @Anonymous
It's really odd that resetting prefs and an uninstall/reinstall didn't fix it. However there is a workaround!
You'll need to open the Windows menu via the Hotbox:
I hope this helps get you back up and working! It is really strange though that a reset of prefs didn't fix it so I'm going to do a little more research as well to see if we can get that menu back permanently for you
