I need your help about a rigging problem. I want to add some lights on the wing of my plane, that's will fallow the bend of the wing.

But even if i put on the group wich is declare/ group to the bend folder it's not fallowing as i want. Do you have any ideas, tips or other way to do it like i want ?

Thanks !

You are going to want to try a Rivit. Then you can put the light under the locator it creates.Rivit should be under the constrain menu but I can't remember if that's were it was in 2018

So your idea work with the constraint " point on poly" in maya 2018. And it work only with an Arnold meshlight, not with area light, but it's enough  for me, so thanks so much for your help !

Peace

I guess that would be why I can't remember where they were in 2018. LOL

You might want to check out these links. This was the way to do in the
past. I guess that it wasn't as long ago as I remember.

In theory I would think so but I have never been able to get it to work
the way a rivit does.

Wait. Yes you should be able to do what you are trying to do.  If you Point On Poly a locator with maintain offset off and then parent the light to the locator it should work. So maybe give that a try.
