Maya 2015 view cube is GONE, wont come back!!!

YES I MADE SURE IT WAS ENABLED IN THE SETTINGS AND ON THE HUD AND THAT IT WAS NOT SET TO BE TRANSPARENT AND I DID RESTART THE PROGRAM.

Sorry, but everywhere I've looked has the same stupid solutions that don't work.

The veiwcube is gone.

This thing if you didn't know what it was called.

It's gone for whatever reason, I've tried everything I could find on Google and nothing has brought it back.

Anyone know how to get it back? Anyone?

Are you using Viewport 2.0?

From what I can tell, this is a known issue - the viewcube does not work in Viewport 2.0

Try switching to the legacy renderer, or the legacy high quality renderer (this is the menu item on the top of your viewport, not in the "Render Settings" window).

I guess for now it's a choice you have to make.  For me, I don't bother with the View Cube - it has always been unreliable, and causes more potential for errors than it's worth.  Maybe it has been fixed and works great in this version, but my workflow and hotkeys work fine for me and I find no reason to switch.

If you would like it to work in Viewport 2.0 try this script: http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/script/viewcube-hd

Thank you for suggesting my script.
The ViewCube script is now the part of my script pack.
So the link has been changed.
