Is it possible to skip saving XGen files when I save the maya scene?

Is it possible to skip saving XGen files when I save the maya scene?

My scene has over 20 XGen collections and they're saving XGen files whenever I save the maya scene.

It takes much more times for save the scene.

Any idea or soultion?

I don't believe there is a way around this unless there is a third party plug-in or script somewhere that can handle this.
