I can't seem to switch my student version to a subscription version

I've been using the student version of maya for 4 years now and I love this product, it's awesome. Now that I've graduated and need to start selling my work, I need to move over to the Subscription Version, and for some reason I just can't do it.

I've been poking around the forums a bit for to find a solution for this thing and nothing seems to be working. Maya's website says that when I install Maya there should be a screen where I can input my Credentials now that I have the full version. Unfortunately I can't seem to access that screen anywhere and no matter what I do (delete maya and any remnants of it on my computer) I still have that Student Version tag on the screen and all my files.

If anyone can help me out here I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks for reading

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Community.

Can you check out and try the suggested solution here, particularly the part where you delete the TSF.data files?

Maya lists as a student version even though I switched to a non-student serial

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Hey Jeffery!

Thanks for such a quick reply! I could've sworn I already tried that, but you can't argue with results! It works just fine now!

Thanks a bundle, and have a good day man!
