Whenever I minimize the Outliner or Shelf window, it moves to the bottom left.
This hides the Help Line and I can't see it.
Is there any way to snap the minimized window to the bottom right corner or anywhere else I want?
I guess I need to use a script, but I don't know.
Please teach me.
Automatic, not manual.

Hi!
You can't control where minimized floating windows are being placed.
The only option is to move the Help Line, the whole Maya window or avoid using minimize and using Workspaces and docking instead.
How do you know that?
So why are they lined up neatly in the bottom left corner?
Is this a coincidence? It can't be.
Of course, the only Autodesk would know this,
But this had to be controlled in the application. Then there is always a solution.
I would like to have an Autodesk representative answer this question.
Hi @amaterasu-qbb,
However @mspeer is correct, that this is an automatic utility within Maya and one would have to write a customer script for Maya to alter this process. This at best would be a python internal script, but would likely involve an external script instead, perhaps directly modifying Maya. In terms of providing assistance at this level, this is not something we can provide. If it's a major showstopper for you, I'd suggest logging a case from your Autodesk account. Otherwise, you could suggest adding this functionality in the Maya Idea forums.
You are correct that the window minimization process isn't just coincidence. This was implemented as a window management strategy by the development team.
I hope this info coming from a representative helps!
