How to make texel density have high resolution ?

Hello. i have uv then go to substaint painter for texture, but the texel density is too low so i get pixel when painting ( i try on 4K res ) . I try to scale bigger than uvmap but it seem broken my uv. ( texture not working ). How to improve that ?

I try to search on this forum, on internet, youtube but didn't work.
I try to uv one by one part of my model but didnt work well...

I dont know how, someone make them model so deltai when zoom in becauz their textel density is high resolution ?

Hi @Anonymous

 

It looks like you only did an Automatic Mapping and didn't properly UV map the model.

 

You'll want to break up the model into a handful of shells so you can save on space and make those shells larger so you'll have more room to texture. One trick for example would be to UV map the wheels and then stack their shells on top of each other. That way they'll all share the same tire texture but take up 1/4 the amount of space.

 

You could also use UDIM texturing. You can find a tutorial on that here:
