Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

If you go to Windows->Settings/Preferences->Plug-ins you can toggle on the 'ddsfloatreader.mll' plug-in.

Once this is toggled, make sure the object and textures are in the same folder then try to open it again and the textures should load in!

Please let me know if this helps or if you need any more assistance!

Hello.

I have a very similar problem/question. I received a mod in Steam for Swiss Army Soldier Textures (3-D). The files found in the steam library folder were .dds ; .mesh ; .gfx ; .assets.

Now I'm not really sure how to open these 3D textures in any other programs. Do you need to open them together or separately ? And how or where?

The reason why I want to open them is that I need to import them into Arc-Gis as a .dae - file (as a 3D model). The files, as they are now either can't be opened, or are just flat pictures (the .dds file). (see files in the attachment)

How do I convert them or import them to Maya 2019 and then export as a 3D .dae file?

Thank you very much for your help. If you need any more informations feel free to ask.
