How do I get the "Start/Stop Arnold in the viewport" button in my workspace?

Hello!

On my home computer, there's a button that allows me to use Arnold in the viewport in the top left corner.  I use it frequently to preview how lighting and materials will look in Arnold before performing an "actual" render, and it displays its progress on a HUD.

Unfortunately, it seems absent on my computer at my university. I've recently reset Maya's preferences on my home computer so it should be enabled by default, and I'm using a fresh install of Maya 2023 at school.

I can still go to Renderer > Arnold, but it feels a bit clunkier. It opens an Arnold toolkit in a separate window, and there isn't a HUD.

How do I enable this button on my school workstation?

What version of MtoA do you have on that computer? You need at least 5.2 (which is when the toolbar was introduced)

I just installed MtoA 5.2.2.2 and I can see the button now! Thank you so much.

The real question is how do I get rid of it? We don't use Arnold at work, and that button irritates me after switching to maya 2023.

I have the same question.

I don´t need that annoying button. How can I get rid of it?
