Help to remap Pan navigation

Hi there!

Is there a way to remap the Pan navigation button to another button on my mouse?

I recently rebought a mouse as the previous middle click button stopped working.

There are 2 side buttons on the mouse that do the same thing as the left click rotation.

I couldn't see anywhere in the preferences to change the mouse controls, only the keyboard shortcuts.

What type of mouse do you have? I personally use a Microsoft mouse and I can download software where I can change the key bindings on my mouse itself and even for specific applications.

I have a Microsoft Comfort 4500 mouse.

I've also downloaded the software (I had forgotten about this so thank you), unfortunately to change the app-specific settings I am not sure where to go within the Maya folder

Cool so you should have Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Centre installed on your computer.

So just open it and click app-specific settings and choose add new. Locate the folder C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2016\bin   and then find the Maya.exe file.

Funnily enough I have the exact same mouse and I have the side button for my middle click 😉
