Fatal crash during cache MASH Network, Maya 2020.1

I constantly get fatal in crash when I try to cache MASH network, Alembic export. Error log says:

Exception code: C0000005: ACCESS_VIOLATION - illegal read at address 0xFF010050
Fault address: 0BA7DB10 in D:\Autodesk\Maya2020\bin\EvaluationManager.dll
0001:0000CB10 Logical offset (see .map file for location)

Full log is attached.

Does anyone have any advice on this?

Best and thanks!

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! Does this happen with all scenes or just a specific project? If it's just with a specific scene, would you be able to share it here? You can attach it as a .zip file or send it to me in a direct message 🙂

if it is happening with all scene files, I would first make sure that you system meets the requirements to run:

You can also Reset Maya to Default to ensure that any tool corruption is cleared out 🙂

thanks again for being a part of our community!

Hi Jordan,

It's happening on some more complex scenes that I have, on some simpler ones it goes OK.

My rig has Windows 10 pro, with i7 6850K CPU which satisfies system requirements.

GPU is 1080 Ti which I see is not under certified or tested devices , but others from same architecture are like 1080 , 1070.

I have reset Maya to default settings as you advised but nothing changed.

Should I send you zip file of scene that it crashes?

Hi @Anonymous

Yes, please do! Also, if you are getting any Customer Error Reports when it crashes (it will ask you if you want to send a crash report to autodesk) please do! I can look up the details of those reports internally 🙂

if you want, you can send me the .zip file in a direct message, or upload it directly to this thread.

Thanks again for your efforts!

Hi Jordan,

I've sent a Customer Crash Report to Autodesk after crash happened.

I attached my file that is causing crashes.

Thanks for the effort so far! 😄

Best, Ivan
