Is it possible to export hair made with XGEN to other applications such as Blender, UE? If it is, using which method?
Also what is the best workflow for the goal if I have 2 descriptions of different XGEN grooming approaches, one made using IG and one made using core? Below is the hairstyle in question. The thick upper part (core) and the thinly shaved sides (IG). Appreciate all feedback!

You can export an Alembic file.
Take a look at this Unreal tutorial.

@Christoph_Schaedl Thank you for the tutorial. If I am successful in exporting the alembic, can I use the hair mesh in Blender? Or even Character Creator?

Ask in the Blender forum. I have no idea how Blender does handle Alembic files.
