Exporting .ass stand in file not working

Hi ive been trying all morning to get some objects exported to use as stand ins.  The files never show up in the folder im exporting to and this is the only line of code that is returned in the script editor.

Is there a fix for this?  Im in windows 10 and the scene is very simple.  Now boilded down to almost nothing with no history just to test.

That's the only thing in the script history? Not even the file command or the arnoldExportAss command.

Then what's the full path name of the ass file you want to export? Are there any special characters anywhere?

Heres a copy of the whole script editor of me opening maya, creating a cylinder, and then trying to export .ass file.  I also opened maya as administrator because if I dont there would be an error involving write permission of this type of file.  When running as administrator that error message goes away but it still doesn't create the actual file.

Hi. If you haven't solved the problem, try this method if you still need help.

Go to Render Settings > Common > path: ()

Check if there are any non-English characters on the path.

If you have, change the setting. File > Set Project or Change Project.
