Hi, im having multiple errors pop up in maya 2017 for my mac. I have the screenshots of it attached below. I have tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling it but it doesn't seem to work. i have no idea how to fix it and when i contact support nobody seems to want to help me. Please give some feedback if anybody knows how to fix this issue.

Hello,

Is this the first time you've installed Maya, or have you had previous versions installed? These errors look preference related, so I would suggest deleting or resetting your preferences folder and restarting Maya to start with a clean slate. If it gives you the option to import previous preferences, choose no.

The folder is called Prefs and is located in your Library > Preferences > Autodesk > maya > 2017. If you don't know how to get to your Library, open Finder and in the menubar hold Option (Alt) while in the Go menu.

Also, what version of 2017 are you using? I would recommend using 2017 Update 2 if you aren't.

No this is the first time i've installed Maya. & also i am using a Mac, i'm
not sure how to get to the preferences folder in order to reset it, its not
there when i hit show package contents. As far as i know, there hasn't been
an update 2 for Maya 2017 on Mac.

Update 2 is available. You need to retrieve the updates from your Account Management page, so go to https://accounts.autodesk.com/ and then go to AM. In this section scroll down until you find Maya. Click on it and in the modal pop-up go to the Updates tab and there you'll find Update 2.

On Unix systems, Maya is a complete install, so Autodesk recommends you remove the previous version before installing the new one. So just delete the AutodeskMaya folder in Applications before installing. There are other files elsewhere, but I haven't seen them cause an issue yet.

Your preferences folder is not located in the App itself (through Show Package Contents). Check this video to see how to find the folder, as I explained it above. If you 'Library' Folder does not exist, in the top menubar (where the apple logo is) click 'Go', hold down the Option (Alt) key, and click Library. It'll take you right there.

Be aware that Update 3 is close to being released, so keep an eye out for it as you'll need to do a new install.
