Hello!
I keep having this // Error: line 1: Cannot find procedure "XgCreateDescriptionEditor". I have seen there have already been posts about this and tried following the solutions such as deleting my preferences and doing a clean unninstall and install of maya. I use the 2018 version, but I keep having the same problem.

Can some one help me?

the mentioned procedure in the error is in this script file :

that solved the problem once 

by once I mean after you closed Maya and open it again you have to run the script manually again  to get rid of that error.

try it, if that worked let me know, I probably able to find a solution to it
