Ah...it's the old "delete the Maya.env" file trick. Ability to open restored. NOPE still broken. Hypergraph is hosed. P*ssed about spending $30 again to support non-piracy, only to be punished. Oh well. Unfortunately, ups my consideration to Cinema 4D a bit since it integrates with AE.
Hi!
I suggest to re-install Maya and reset the preferences (you may try to reset preferences first, if it does not work do it after re-installation again)
Rename the folder prefs in folder 2017 to something like prefs_backup, or to reset everything, the folder 2017 to 2017_backup. Maya creates new folders. Detailed at:
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/maya/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Reset-May...
1. Go to Preferences > Settings > Animation > Evaluation mode: DG
2. Now open Hypergraph, go to Options, turn off Heat map display
3. Then again go to Preferences > Settings > Animation > Evaluation mode: Parallel (if you need it)
The problen is that you can't use heat map options in hypergraph with parallel animation mode.
