discouragement from old user about recent maya

Maya become plugins-patched monster, like Frankenstein's.
Bifrost, XGen, MASH, Bullet, HumanIK.. yes I know those are nice product. But Bifrost doesn't allow me to edit shape as normal polygon surface, MASH object can not transform as i get used to object's tree structure, XGen force me to archive object just to place it. Why i can not use for MEL or Python for its expression?
Maya has its own feature to achieve same result, fluid, fur, hair, paintEffects. Why they give up improving their own "well integrated" feature?
I understand acquiring other company is easy way to get latest technologies, but it is possible to destroy software's user experience and workflow.

Rendering is biggest issue for me.
Its own renderer, Maya software is already acient ruin in Alias era. They brought mentalray to maya as "next-gen" renderer and integrated it with taking some years, and i was satisfied with it. And then, suddenly they throw away it and start rebuilding again with Arnold and it makes me confused.
Bad thing is that, they don't have "reference renderer" having parameter which recent GI renderer commonly have. I have to learn it one by one depending which renderer i use. Why i should lean it i just want to use IBL or sky dome??? If maya shader (or light or camera or any node related to rendering) have common parameter, I don't need. I think it is work for renderer's translator.
C4D, Houdini and even free Blender have its "Reference GI Renderer".
Autodesk say, Maya is open for third party renderer, and for user, use arnold instead of mentalray. But Arnold can be standard renderer for maya? I could render 3 extra linux box with mentalray satellite without any cost. Arnold does not allow me even batch rendering only on one machine. They said "use sequnce render" but i want to render some scene while i sleep! How can i do this? I have to pay almost $5000 to do same thing with Arnold.

Maybe I'm too old to follow up recent Maya (I've been using since Maya 5), but i become not to feel fun to build scene on Maya so much because of too many "special case which i have to think extra knowledge"
I admit Maya have great feature individually, but I think they should unify and integrate it into Maya traditional workflow.

plus one, I feel the same!

I know we are working to do this right now!

how long is it going to take to get there?, I don't know !

but I can tell you it is part of the developer's roadmap.
