Curves to Guides issue

I am having an issue when converting curves to guides. My curves are -1 scaled but then history deleted and freezed transformations. Actually the "Mirror guides" tool was working weird so I was hoping converting guides to curves, mirroring curves and then converting curves back to guides would work. Has anyone faced this issue? Please help. Thanks!

I assume there is something corrupted. I for my part would start over again.
In the past i created more troubles if i tried to fix such issues.
