Hello Fellas,
Currently I am creating specific art with cubes and displacement maps using Xgen and Arnold (See images below or just go to my insta page.

Length, Width, Depth and Color are generated from Displacement and Color texture of the same map.
Everything works fine, the problem is that Arnold uses CPU which is not a good alternative for me.
It takes me around 10 hours to render single frame of those abstract cubes. (that’s a lot)
I prefer GPU renders such as Redshift, Octane etc. which means that I am moving to Redshift because of that reason.
I was generating the geometry and color of those abstract cubes with Xgen using Arnold.
The problem with Redshift is that it doesn’t support primitive archives from Xgen yet. (so when I press render with Redshift I see nothing but black screen). Therefore if I want to use Redshift I have to leave Xgen aside.
Do you think I could recreate those images/geometry using MASH? Please give me some advice, I want to continue doing that but Arnold and it’s CPU usage is killing me.
If I can achive the same effect using Redshift and MASH that would be awesome!
Please let me know if anything from my description is unclear.
Thanks in advance
Yanko
