I really hope some here has experiened this and found a solution
I dont think its Maya itself but all other avenues of solution have been exhuasted and no-one knows whats going on.
I am a 3d lecturer and rely on recorded demonstrations in class.
problem;
As of early this year ( 2016) maya right click menus have not been showing up in screen recordings
Fact;
they were working ( showing up) at one stage in maya ext1 2016 on the same version of maya
Fact;
This has been the case on multiple ( no encoding required)video capture programs such as Debut and OBS
Fact;
this has been experienced on multiple machines both at home and at the college
Fact;
they all run windows 7
Fact;
mine worked before windows updates ealry in the year , at the college the updates are automatic and it must have happened earlier
My suspicion/hunch is microsoft Windows has changed somthing in their window stack manager that conflicts with mayas New Gui system.
either that or the right clicks z order has a priority conflict
If anyone can help out with suggestions or similar experiences, it would be greatly appreciated.
