Can’t see anything when use GPU render of Arnold?

Hi. I’m trying to use GPU for rendering instead of CPU setup of Arnold. But whenever I tried it, I only see a black render view with the notification that it’s uploading, even with a simple scene which my CPU can do in seconds. I’m using an i7 10700 with a GTX 1660. Thanks.

I'm not going to tell you to check your GPU drivers and Arnold's supported card list, I assume you've done that already.

Usually when you first run a GPU render it takes a really long time, so how long are you waiting before giving up?

You can speed the initial load time by, Arnold -> Utilities -> Pre-populate GPU Cache. That'll take some time then your scenes should load faster.

Let me know

I didnt record how long I have waited but it's not too long for sure, maybe about a minute. And yeah I've just did as you mentioned and seems like I can use my GPU to render now without waiting too long. Thanks!
