Can I put all my references in one scene?

I have lots of references, they are annoying to keep track of and always getting disconnected when I move the scene or reorganize files.  Also I have the student version of maya so I'm clicking the nag screen like 800 times every 2 seconds.  Can I just put all my reference/stand-ins in one file?

You'd use references when necessary only - e.g. when you have to work in team with several people working for one scene, where various elements upon completion need to be updated.

You can import those, yet be ready to work with larger scene files.

And nag screen there's for a reason, and you know it, sorry. 😄

Hi!

Of course, you can put multiple assets in one file and then reference the complete scene containing multiple assets.
