Can I legally use Maya Indie as a freelance artist?

Hello! I'm a junior freelance artist and I have just started working for a company that, in turn, is subcontracted by another production company, which is making a film. I just started working this year, I'm still a junior, so don't make that much money right now. Right now, I have to buy a new Autodesk license, but I'm not sure which one I can legally use. I don't make anywhere near 100.000 euros a year at the moment (one of the conditions of the Maya Indie license), but the film has a budget of several million. As I have been hired as a freelancer by another subcontracted company, I didn't even know the project had such a budget https://mobdro.bio/ .

I have been recommended to use the Maya Indie license, because of my low income, but I don't know if I can legally use that one in my freelancer situation since my work, in the end, ends up in a movie with that budget.

Could I get some advice please? Thanks in advance.

As long a you get paid per asset and those aren't exceeding 100k you are fine. Doesn´t matter how much the company makes. But you aren't allowed to work for time. Lets say you get a Fixum each moth like an employee.

If the pay you for an asset or render you are save.
