Cache Texture Load

Hey everyone!

I'm working from home as I expect a lot of us are now. I'm working off a server that's frankly way too slow for production.

Usually not an issue. But loading textures into the viewport cause absolutely crazy slow responsive times out of Maya.

Is there a way to get Maya to cache file loads? I presume it constantly reloads the texture off the server, rather than loading it once.

Any help would make my life so much better.
