BUG? Local Rotation Axes not selectable in Maya 2018 VP2.0

Selecting the Join Local Rotation Axes is not working using VP2.0

The only workaround is to manually enable the legacy viewports, select the LRA.. and rotate it..

Once they are selected in the legacy viewport, you can switch back to VP2.0 and rotate them, but selecting another LRA won't work (from VP2.0)

There is clearly an offset in VP2.0, happens also to the other students.

Hi @pavelR. and welcome to the community!

Yes this is a known issue and our dev team is working on a fix that will hopefully be implemented in a hotfix and/or update.

Please hit the Accept as Solution button if my post fully solves your issue, or reply with additional details if the problem persists.

Kudos are greatly appreciated. Everyone likes a thumbs up!

It affects transform-snapping (with joints) too (move-tool, snapping) (same effect, everything offset from world-center is.. in-operational).

Also, who marked the answer from above as SOLUTION

A solution would be to have it fixed, then I can hit Accept Solution, telling someone that this is a BUG is NOT a solution.

(especially if the same feature worked in the previous versions, also the legacy views are officially deprecated)

I can accept a solution once it's fixed, until then I marked the answer as 'not a solution'!

Hi!

This forum is not made for bug reports or bug tracking, nor is the "Solution"-system.

A Solution marked message is the one that give the correct answer to a problem. This will be placed at top of the thread and the thread will me marked in overview, this has the following advantages:

1. Anyone having the same problem will find the correct answer fast, without needing to read the whole thread

2. No one needs to open the thread unnecessary just with the plan to help you

There are sometimes situations where it sounds wrong to mask an answer as solution but it's better to do so.

For Example:

"Is it possible in Maya 2017 to Mix multiple Audio Channels with Audio Effects, i need this feature."

The correct Answer to this is "No" and this answer should be marked as Solution although it does not "really" help the thread opener with his problem.

Bugs are logged at a complete different location and are not influenced by this forum.
