Auto Key in Time Editor?

I'm used to animating with auto key on. It seems though it doesn't effect the time editor. So if for example add an additive layer and try to add some animation to a clip, I'll have manually hit the keyframe button to add/update keyframes. Any way to get auto key or something similar in the time editor?

I am not aware of any Auto key option for Time Editor, i also  don't miss this there,
