Arnold attached File Texture Not showing in Render anymore.

Hi everyone!

Ive been working on a model and finished texturing it. However the next day after I made and finished texturing the spaceship model i worked on. The attached File textures that were connected to a brushed metal shader have completely disapeared in the render. You can still see them while working in the project window. But not in the renderer. I have looked in the hypershade and everything seems ok. The textures are appearing as they should do. Its just when I look through the preview it appears bright blue? I need a fix asap! Bellow are some images of the model and the errors ive encounted.

Start by setting the Arnold log verbosity to Warnings + Info, and then check the log for warnings and errors. Post the log here.

What's pCubeShape1 ? It's got bad UVs

00:00:00 446MB WARNING | resetting parameter uvlist on pCubeShape1 (found: nans or infs)
00:00:00 446MB ERROR | [polymesh] pCubeShape1: incorrectly defined UV coordinates, missing either uvlist or uvidxs

That cyan color isn't the default color for MayaFile (which is used when the texture cannot be loaded) so it looks like something is being loaded from the tx file. Delete the tx and let mtoa re-make it.

As a test, stick a new primitive in the scene, and apply the texture to that.

I created a new primitive in the scene and the texture works fine with it. I deleted the .tx file and it didnt change anything. 😞

pCubeShape1 is the spaceship body. The only thing i can think of that messed it up, could be that I created a thruster on the back of the ship today by extruding the pCubeShape1 at the back. I added a cyan emmiting texture to it. Is it possible this has messed up the UVs?

I tried deleting the UVs and creating the textures from scratch and its the same. I have no idea how to solve this problem. I didnt even save a old version of the ship before I added the thruster 😞

Ok so I sort of fixed the problem but not really. I extracted the faces that were not show the texture so that they are seperate objects. This allowed me to see my texture on the faces again with no problem.

However after trying to combine the different objects to make the ship whole again, the same probelm happens and the texture disapears. So my only option is to find a way of combining the different objects of the ship without using the combine option? any ideas guys? Bellow are some new updated images:

Hi!

This could be a problem of UV mapping / your settings for Combine.

Again, please upload a scene-file.
