Sculpted guides lose their position when the description visibility is toggled on and off. They snap back to either a previous state or re-interpolate. Selecting them with the grab brush snaps them back to sculpted position, only to lose it again when the description visibility is toggled again. May have something to do with clumping to guides.
To re-create:
Create a new description and sculpt on a guide modifier's guides.
Clump to guides by adding a clump modifier and run the Guide modifier's inGuide_Shape out spline data into input points on the clump.
Turn on "use input points" on the clump modifier.
Do additional sculpting on the guides, then toggle the description visibility.
The curves should snap to different positions. Additional sculpting will snap them back to their proper position. Another description toggle will snap them back to the wrong position.
Please let me know if anyone has seen this, if there is a solution to this and if it's a known bug.
thanks

When using guides as clumps, you need to turn off Interpolation on the guide modifier base node. The Clumps as guides feature is still in Beta as well, so still needs improvement
That appears to work. Thanks Michael for answering all my questions on here. Is there an eta on a fully functional clump to guide? This is a make-or-break feature for us.
Unfortunately further testing show that disabling interpolate on the inGuide_base node of the guide modifier doesn't fix the issue.
