XGen animating multiple descriptions at once

Hey! I have just started dedicating more time to understanding XGen.

I've had to use multiple descriptions to get the hair to generate correctly. 

Is it possible to animate multiple descriptions at once? If so, how do I do it? 

I will need this when I put multiple characters with Xgen hair into one scene.

It looks to me in the viewport that only one description animates at a time. 

Does that change when it renders, or do I need to do something like cache?
