how to use reverse utility in node editor

I'm working with XGen IGS. I want to use a noise map as a modifier mask, then invert it and use the inverse as a mask on a different modifier. That way I can clump some hairs, then add a different modifier to the un-clumped hairs. I can run the map through a reverse node into a shader and it works just fine. If I run the reverse output into an xgen mask it doesn't work. Any help?

thx

Just a thought - are you  connecting the alpha of the reverse node to the XGEN map area? or the color?

I would think that the alpha connection would be better.

There's a bug in how the output of several utility nodes gets applied in IGS. We're looking into it..

Hi,
it seems that this error is still in Xgen. Are you going to fix it?

Para invertir la mascara, puedes utilizar este símbolo  ~

Por ejemplo así pude invertir la mascara de Clump...

~Clumpmask()

Te puede servir...
