Ok I'll make this quick. All the tutorials online about bifrost are 2016 or older and I can't seem to make it work. I first create a cube (for an emitter), select it in object mode, and than go to bifrost and create liquid. This creates bifrostLiquid, bifrostLiquidPorterties, bifrostGuidePorperties, bifrostLiquidMes, and bifrostemitterProps nodes. In the tutorial video it says to create the scratch cache on the timeline. I had to enable this under the bifrost options ( also give bifrost enough memory). This is as far as I get. The timeslider turns green but I can't see any particles coming from the cube. It seems pretty simple in 2016 Maya but I can't seem to figure it out in 2017 Maya.
Please Help!!!

I figured it out. It was my view port. I'm having problem with finding the accelerator in 2017. I think they made it part of the emitter node instead of adding it later.
Can anyone find the accelerator in Bifrost 2017?
Hi Ted,
I made a video describing the basics of the accelerator features. They're now called Motion Fields.

I included the Maya 2017 file links at the bottom of the video if you need them as well.
You're awesome. I caught your video on Friday. I think it was Thursday that I was playing with Bifrost. But your video definitely helped. ALOT!!! It was really hard to find any information about 2017 Maya Bifrost because it so new. But I love your video and the help that I definitely needed. I'm having a problem with scale and shading with Arnold in Bifrost. I'll post my questions in another thread.
Thanks

Hello,
What if I want to spread bifrost liquid everywhere using motion , its doesn't work. What to do?
I hope someone could help.
Hello Heba.VFX,
It looks like your master voxel size is to large. Also scene scale is important. Make sure your buildings ( I assume those are building) are at really world scale and then scale them down to 1/10 th the size. This will help with the bifrost gravity (9.8) calculations. Also slowly decrease the voxel size because this increases simulation time. There's is video on Puralsight that is probably what your looking for. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTVizu6m7-o
Good Luck

and why do these idiots keep renaming and rearranging? what is the point of upgrading then? it gets worse and worse every version

dont bother wasting time on digital retards. just get 2016 ext 2 which has bifrost and mash. everything else is pretty much useless.
