Xgen IGS penetrating with it's connected mesh.

Hi,

I've seen this happen several times over the past few months where IGS is attached to a mesh,  "Collide with Mesh" is turned on through the grooming marking menu, but when I groom the hair only some areas adhere to the underlying collisions and there are quite a few areas where the guides flip through the connected geometry (see attached as a recent example) leaving balding spots.  At first I thought it might be a normal issue, but I don't believe it is (because they all seem to be conformed).  Could it be inverting because of the normals pointing in the opposite direction on the inside of the mouth?  This has also happened on parts of the model that don't have a thin area like around the mouth.  If there's a setting I'm missing, please let me know.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Kris.

This link from the other year addresses the same issue I was having.  It turns out XGen "Collide with Meshes" only works on simple meshes due to how the collisions are calculated (through voxels). Hopefully this will be something that will be addressed in upcoming releases.
