Hi i am currently doing an experiment with maya FX and bullet to make a stone shatter effect.

im aiming to make a slightly crack animation on stone , but ended up having the stone exploded way too quick.

i have no idea how to adjust the speed to make the explosion goes slower. below here is a rough playblast i captured from the scene

Thank you!

Hi @Richardd013 ,

I would try hand animate the crack, then have the Bullet Start Time set after that.  Due to Bullet is driving transform of the object, you will need to create a group/locator, parent the object(s) underneath, then you can animate from there.

Hope this helps.

how to hand animate the cracks if it consisted of 100pieces of cracks? and would you explain more about setting the bullet start time after the hand animating it and all the progress you hve explained above?
a simple video would be really helpful though. thanks in advance!

Hi @Richardd013,

Sorry, took a while.  You probably figured it out by this point, but here it is anyway.

Good luck.
