BOSS displacement output doesn't match with BOSS mesh

would you please make any test with bifrost and confirm ??

after created a desire ware shape with rectangle plane let's say 100,50, and cache the output displacement , then if you try to use this displacement on a same plane size, the displacement won't match with the mesh....

i tried several tests but most of them didn't work except maybe one or two randomly...

of course i'm changing all the parameter in the displacement node correctly... only the result doens'tmatch at all....

To make sure the positioning of the vector displacement map is correct, use a projection instead of relying on UVs. Turn off auto-bump in the Arnold section of the displacement node to properly compare the BossOutput mesh and the displaced rendered mesh.

I get consistent results with this workflow. Of course you can turn on auto-bump afterwards to get the additional detail.

You need to just adjust the displacement value and the plane subdivisions.
